Having the best or most popular brand of ceramic coatings installed on your vehicle means absolutely nothing if the vehicle was not prepped properly prior to application… even the best coatings will fail prematurely.
The PURE BOND Ceramic Coating System ensures that a very unique set of coating pre-prep steps and processes happen every single time we ceramic coat a vehicle to ensure a surgically clean surface so that when the chemical cross-link happens upon application of the coating to the substrates a “PURE BOND” happens which in turn will prevent a premature failure of your ceramic coated vehicle.

A sediment suspension coating eliminates that and you are going to get a more purified version of the coating, that means that the protective elements and chemicals in the bottle are TREMENDOUSLY more concentrated than any other ceramic coating in existence because this new technology holds all of the elements in suspension in a much more efficient way, meaning it will last longer and be stronger.
So when we wipe this product on the surface, you are getting a much thicker more concentrated layer of ceramic protection than… Anything. Anywhere.

Here at Tilbury AutoShine part of our ceramic coating aftercare is to bring you back 2 weeks after it has been coated for its first wash for free where we demonstrate in person how to do a proper wash using a rinseless wash method which is quick, easy for anyone and will keep your vehicle looking spectacular and protected.
Most ceramic coatings can last more than three years without any major maintenance, except for periodic cleaning to keep it looking its best. Waxes only last about six weeks before they begin to wear thin and crack so ceramic coatings are almost always the better choice over wax when trying to preserve the lifespan of your vehicles paint job. Ceramic coatings last for years with proper wash technique and periodic maintenance.
Here at Tilbury AutoShine, we have a controlled, professional ceramic coating installation facility that keeps the weather and other contaminants away from your vehicle during its installation. We can install a ceramic coating anytime throughout the year here in Tilbury, Ontario; however, it is best to do it when the temperature is relatively moderate and not freezing or sweltering.
There is no preferable time of the year (Summer, Winter etc) to ceramic coat your vehicle as each season has it's own environmental issues to deal with and getting protection on it as soon as possible is always the best option.
This is a very common question, as many vehicle owners who are customers here at Tilbury AutoShine wonder what it takes to keep their ceramic coating looking its best. The answer is rather simple: If you don't like to hand wash the vehicle yourself than bring it to a professional exterior detailer and have them clean the surface once a month. This will ensure you never create swirl marks on your ceramic coating.
Touchless car washes and coin-op car washes are ok to use occasionally but stay away from any car wash that touches your vehicle, abrasion is the worst enemy for a coating.
Additionally, you can maintain your vehicles coating at home with guidance and instruction provided by us when you complete service with us.
Ceramic coatings are highly hydrophobic, but they cannot prevent surface damage, such as scratches, swirl marks, paint chipping, or any type of defect as such. Their primary focus outside of increasing your surface gloss is protecting your paintwork from environmental and chemical contamination that may lead to paint stains, oxidation, and fading. If you are looking for more exterior surface durability, consider a paint protection film.
